- Common diseases
- Supply and demand situation
- Terrain and soil conditions in An Giang
- Development orientation for Le Lan International’s Thai lime distribution project
THAI LIME VARIETIES
Outstanding characteristics:
- Lush green leaves, healthy stems and small fruits with rough skin
- The highlight of this species is its distinctive aroma and strong sour taste
- Thai lime trees are usually grown from seedlings or cuttings, and require proper technical care to achieve high yields

Causes: Bacterial infection
Treatment: Regularly spray specialized antibacterial treatments
3. Leaf Miner Disease
Characteristics: Serpentine trails on leaves, usually appearing when trees produce new shoots
Causes: Appears during the new shoot growth period
Treatment: Spray insecticides regularly and at the right time
4. Leaf Yellowing Disease
Characteristics: Leaves turn yellow, wilt then fall
Causes: Nutrient deficiency or waterlogged soil damaging roots
Treatment: Identify specific causes and adjust care methods
SUPPLY AND DEMAND SITUATION
The demand for Thai lime consumption in An Giang and neighboring areas is quite high, as Thai lime is an indispensable pharmaceutical ingredient in many traditional dishes and medicines.
However, the supply of Thai lime still faces difficulties due to the impact of diseases and incomplete care methods.
TERRAIN AND SOIL CONDITIONS
